Très jolie à mon avis dans les tons glacials.
Hey everyone,
We've had to push some items on the Release Schedule back a month, specifically the new Typhon release, and issue 6 of Croc Tales. Both should now be out in August, and the new issue of Croc Tales will have some extra material in it as well (Mercenaries!)
We know its disappointing news, but we're now in the middle of the summer convention season, and we haven't had the time to put the final touches on these projects in time for their July release. But they'll be here in August, and we'll be sure they are worth the wait!
The last few weeks we have been busy getting the Wendigo Warband Guidebook ready to send off to the printers. It is almost ready to go,but we thought we'd show everyone a sneak preview of the first few pages of the book.It is available in the Croc Downloads section, or by clicking HERE.
The Wendigo Warband book contains the complete rules and background for playing the Wendigo. It has 48 full-color pages lavishly illustrated Des Hanley and John Wigley, and includes a set of Hyperborea themed Command Counters. We expect the printed book to be available in August, and we'll be posting updates on the Croc site over the course of the next few weeks as things progress.
Immortal Miniatures have sent along details of some upcoming new releases as well as updates to their existing ranges of figures.
From their announcement:
I've just sent me next set of plastic figures off to tooling, with the next one to follow this month. The great thing about plastic figures is it allows you to make figures in metal that normally would not be so viable financially. Im hoping to add 2 brand new ranges this year and anther two that can be used to either expand some of my existing ones or create entirely new armies. The plan with immortal miniatures is to create a solid 'time line' of armies, so you always have opponents and ally's for each of the ranges.
Updating the ranges.
I've spent some time recently looking at some of my older figures in the ranges and thinking about how they can be improved upon to bring them up to the standard of the plastic Greeks and using the latest research available. While some of these figures will be replaced, the older versions will still be available on request. This won't be immediate and won't get in the way of new figures being released. I decided against updating the Persian infantry as these will be replaced with plastics by the end of the year.
The following will be updated:
Greeks:
Persians:
- Strategoi
- Hoplites In composite and Linen Cuirass
- Hoplites in bell cuirass
Assyrians and Babylonians:
- Persian Mounted Commander
- Persian Light Cavalry Throwing Javelins
- Light cavalry command
- Persian Heavy Cavalry
- Persian Heavy Cavalry Command
Why the long face? I've also decided that my horses could be better, so rather than practicing sculpting horses (which can take some time and distracts from sculpting new figures.) I have asked some of the industry's finest to make some for me. I have Ebob working on some Nisean horses and other animals (more on this later.) and Michael Lovejoy working on some Persian steeds. Delays with casting. Griffin have been very busy after Salute, so I regret there has been quite a delay in getting my latest metal releases to those of you who have ordered them. I am hoping they will be waiting for me when I return along with Brand new Aramean light infantry, Babylonian archers and Skythian cavalry.

- Neo-Hittite command
Hey Everyone,
We've had a couple questions about all the Scenarios for May, whether players are supposed to play all of them, in order, etc.
We've written a lot more than is normal or necessary for the month. Our idea is that players can pick and choose the Scenarios they like, or can easily run with the models in their collection. If you play 2 or 3 of the 7 'Lost at Sea' Scenarios, you are doing fine. As Clarke said in a previous post, what we are trying to simulate is different warbands having lots of different adventures as they are blown about at sea. So don't stress if you feel like you've fallen behind! June will bring a different sort of Scenario, and you definitely don't need to play all of May's Scenarios to move on.
Hope this helps clear things up!

Osiris @ May 13 2010, 07:08 PMWyatt the Odd @ May 13 2010, 06:33 PMA Khemru starter set could be ready to go if they brought back the KH-202 Harbinger http://thebarkingcrocodile.blogspot .com/
Sure, I'd want the guy by himself, but why should I let that stop Croc from spontaneously adding to their available merchandise?
WyattGood idea Wyatt, I'll look into it.
