This is but a small snack for the great, ancient behemoth known as Ammut, the Soul Devourer. Remnants of recent sacrifices line it's lair, delivered by the shamans of nearby civilizations who worship and fear the great beast.
Though his hunger lingers, Ammut does not. The crash of thunder grows, the sky darkens, and lightning punctuates each breath with greater insistence.
