Étude intérêt du Kickstater niveau client

 

J'ai fait un petit calcul sur le Warband à 255$ (200$ + 55$ de frais de port)

Prix webstore

Warband Starter Set	$ 74,95
Peltast Unit	$ 35,95
Archer Unit	$ 35,95
Hero with Armor Rack	$  8,95
Captain with Casualty	$  8,95
WarGods Rulebooks	?

Ça fait 164,75$ sans le livre et les frais de port. Le livre de règle coûte 40$ avec frais de port pour les américains normalement. On peut estimer à  et donc là il fait 35,25$. 4,75$ de gagné.
Avec le Titan Hunter et l'Oracle (qu'on peut estimer à $11,95 chacun) a fait 23,90$ supplémentaire de gagné.
On peut évaluer le PDF du livre de règles à 5$.

Pour l'instant on est à 33,65$ soit 13% offert par rapport à l'investissement de départ.
C'est pas énorme mais bon.
Sur un Warband x2 ou on divise les frais de port par 2, ça donne presque 15%.

Sans être trop farfelu, on peut espérer au moins une figurines gratis supplémentaire à $11,95 avant la fin du Kickstarter. Soit 45,60$ (18-20% d'offert). Ceci dit on ne sait pas ce qui sera encore offert mais donner des Spécialistes est une bonne chose. Je n'ai pas compté le Demi-Dieu de Dionysos dans le calcul.

Depuis plus de 10 ans Crocodile Games propose des figurines exclusives lors d'événements. Une dernière chance de se procurer ces figurines. C'est pas trop cher de mon point de vue et ça risque d'intéresser du monde !

Des chevaucheurs de pégases !! Très haut elfe dans le style et l'historique !! Le concept est bon et quand on connait les qualité de Chris à sculpter de l'elfe…

Pour les règles. Rapidement les Corinthien sont des défenseurs avec Def 5 et un armement légèrement moins cher (-1 pt).

Si on peut espérer un petit plus à 50k c'est peut-être d'offrir les boucliers qui permettent d'avoir différents Honneurs de Bataille pour les Phalanges. Ça reste de la supposition mais bon.

Kickstarter - Quelques informations grapillées

 

* Peut-être des PDF de règles et autres offerts

* Les Corinthiens et Athéniens ne sont pas sculptés mais des concepts seront dévoilés bientôt car les 45k$ ont été dépassé. Vous avez vu qu'ils ont rajouté des demi-paliers à 500$ (PDF en cadeau...) c'est plutôt encourageant !!!

@Longstrider: With all the interest in the PDF, we're looking into it - we just need to pull the all the old files and compile everything, but I don't want to promise anything until we are sure we can do it. Give us a few days, and we'll see.

Corinthians teaser coming soon. Remember, the Trojans, Amazons and Demigods are the models that are largely sculpted, and close to going into production. Corinthians and Athenians are have not reached the sculpture stage yet, but we can show off some cool art and their background.

More UK shipping options added

Hey UK Backers!

We have been able to arrange for less expensive option for our
backers who have a UK shipping address.

We've worked out an arrangement to fulfill most the rewards for the
UK by working with a UK partner. As soon as everything is ready, we
will be shipping a stock of books and miniatures to our UK partner,
and UK rewards will all be sent from there by Royal Mail. This
means that shipping to UK address ends up being a little less
expensive than we originally thought.

Kickstarter is not set up for specific country options - just USA or
International. So we've created additional versions of some of our
popular reward levels specifically for the UK. These rewards all
have "UK" in the title, such a "Skirmish UK" or "Council of the Gods
UK", etc. If you are in the UK, please have a look at our updated
rewards, and be sure to let your friends know as well.

Unfortunately, the cost to Europe and the rest of the world still
ends up being about the same - we're sorry about that! If you
located elsewhere in the world and want to reduce the shipping cost,
the best way is still to team up with a local friend and split one
of the x2 rewards. This way ends up about the same and sometimes
better than the "UK" rewards.

Please understand that we are not playing favorites, we love all of
the WarGods backers equally everywhere! :-)

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and ideas on this, we're
doing our best to make the WarGods Kickstarter accessible to everyone!

Kickstarter - Les Add-Ons

 

Voilà ce qu'on peut rajouter en Add-On

How to get Add-Ons:
Kickstarter only allows 1 reward level per backer, so if there is something you would like to get in addition to the reward you have selected, you can include Add-Ons. These are popular items that many backers have requested.  To get an add on, simply increase the actual dollar amount of you pledge level by the value of the Add-On. At the end of the program, you'll be able to specify the particular Add-Ons you want. There is no extra charge for shipping Add-Ons unless stated next to the price.
Note: miniature Add-Ons are not available with the Warrior Reward level, as it is shipped in a flat-rate envelope and additional items are restricted by the post.

La FAQ explique les frais de port …

The cost of international shipping for some reward levels seems high. Why?
The shipping cost is determined by the USPS based on the size and weight of the package.  Any reward level that includes the rulebook in addition to the miniatures requires a larger box, and weighs an additional 2 lbs, so shipping for these starts at $55 to ship outside the US. 
We can't change the cost of shipping, but we have created some 'buddy' rewards where two players can pledge together to get 2 complete reward levels to split the cost of shipping. If you and a friend decide to get one of these rewards, one person makes the pledge, and you can add specifics at the end on the program on your survey (like both your names for the book's 'Thank You' page, which warbands you want, etc.) The package will be sent together to the backer's address. You'll also get 2 sets of any stretch goal miniatures completed - one for each of you.
If there is a real interest in buddy x3 or x4 reward levels for your whole gaming group, please let us know and we'll add the rewards to the program.

The first wave of Amazons is an advanced scout party on foot, the second wave will include horses if we can get that far!
The idea would be to start with the basics and then move on with special troops once the basics get funded.

Des éclaireurs à pied et puis si le palier est atteint des de la cav !

Good morning everyone - we woke up to see that we made it to our goal in a little over 24 hours! Thanks to all of our backers for the support, pledges and help spreading the word!

Now we can get to the really fun part - we've raised enough money to print the book and produce the Trojans and the Demigods. What is next??? We're now going to expand our goals to produce new factions and more miniatures. If we can reach some of these new 'Stretch Goals" we can make our reward levels even BETTER!

So without much further ado -- we are happy to reveal....the Amazons!

We have got some exciting news for you, for the past few months  we have been working behind-the-scenes on something big: the WarGods Kickstarter! 

The goal of the project is to fund the production and printing of the WarGods of Olympus rulebook, and to get the latest miniatures into production, including new Demigods and Trojans -- and possibly much more if the campaign is successful, like Amazons, Corinthians and Athenians.

À la question sur les Amazones, Chris nous dit qu'il a déjà sculpté des figurines qui seront révélées si les paliers sont passés et du coup les amazones débloquée.

The Amazons are not a part of the initial options for the Kickstarter. They will be unlocked as one of the first stretch goals, if we can make it to the basic funding target.
The reason for this is that we want to keep the funding goal realistic and achievable, and adding an entire extra faction to start with would raise our costs by thousands of dollars. I'm really hoping our fans will pledge early to help us get there, you can always change your pledge while the program is still underway to add Amazons, etc, once they are unlocked.
I've already sculpted a number of the Amazon models, we'll start showing these off once the program is underway and we to the basic funding goal.
