It has been a while since the last update, and we have been very busy here working on the Amazons and Trojans!
Amazon Sculpting Progress:First up are some of the latest Amazon sculpts, which Chris has just completed - the Amazon Archers! These minis all come with a separate bow & quiver piece, that attaches to their hip next to their belt. Chris has an alternate quiver planned too, which has some grisly trophies attached as well, like a severed head and scalps! Yuck! But no one ever said the Amazons were nice!Amazon ArchersSo how many more Amazons are still to go? Let's do a quick run-down:
Completed:
- Warriors with spear & shield (all poses completed)
- Peltasts (all poses completed)
- Archers (all completed)
- Hero & Armor Rack
- 1 Honor Guard
- Casualty
Still to go:
- Sword Sprue
- Amazon Champion
- Penthesilea (in progress)
- Herald & Musician
As you can see from the list, we are in the home stretch - only 5 models to go, and all of them are either conversions of existing models or already in progress. If all goes well, we should have all of the Amazon sculpts completed in the next few weeks... then it is on to the Automatons!

Trojan ProductionThe good news is that we are about to begin Trojan production this weekend! We will be picking up the last set of molds on Friday, and then casting begins. There are a lot of miniatures to make, so it will take several days to complete and sort them all, and then packing & labels for shipping. All of their quivers are a separate piece that contains a quiver & sword. I may do another variant that has some grisly trophies as well, like scalps or a severed head.
As for the Trojan production, we're working on the details today, and should be posting an overall Update on the kickstarter page in the next 24 hours - production is almost ready to begin!
